CocoaLeo’s Grooming for Thanksgiving
Ok in these rough economic times isn’t everyone wondering what would Cocoaleo do? Well, right now, he is getting ready to go visit his cousin Lola (a Chihuahua) in Detroit Rock City (a.k.a Hockeytown) for Thanksgiving. It’s cold here in Michigan so I need to decide to get his regular lion’s cut or go with a teddy bear. I thought maybe his fans could decide. Is this too much?
Also, Amy ,the cool librarian sent me some great new pet articles in them I found a new blog http://www.scratchingsandsniffings.com/ This seems like a pretty up-to-date blog with good information. Another new one I found is http://www.pawfun.com. Watch Benny roll over,cause you won’t find any fancy tricks like that here.

Also, I highly suggest you canvass the neighborhood with flyers. That’s what I did about 12 years ago when I lost a cat. I got phone calls on and off for 3 weeks from people in the neighborhood until somebody finally saw her eating road kill in the pouring rain, called us, and we were about to find her!

I also prefer the classic poo-cut to the florescent indignation that standard poodle. I am so conservative. (At least as far as dog grooming goes.) Just read a great book for any dog lover — Merle’s Door by Ted Keresote. Have the kleenex ready for the last two chapters if you read it. Can’t wait to buy some CleanyBeanys. My niece expects one for Christmas.
