Rejected Chihuahua Finds Love
Ok the Chihuahua as a retirement gift went over…a cliff. I know, I know, you should (almost) never give a pet as a gift unless it is for sure wanted by the recipient. What was said, or not, doesn’t matter; the dog was not wanted. Luckily the parties had a contingency plan that my sister would take the new Chihuahua so that her Lola would have company. The new Chihuahua, Chica, is a fabulous deer headed Chihuahua dog, gorgeous with an even better personality. The two dogs are buds. The Retiree got a camera and other “stuff” and it was all good peeps.

What a cutie. Glad you had a contingency plan as you never really know how people will react. I think you are right that giving a pet as a gift without knowing for sure that the person would want a pet is a bad idea.

The dog was always ours since the day we brought her home. We could have never given her up. I’ve known my mom for far to long. Her heart belongs to one special dog only! ! We love our Chica. The vet said it was the cutest deer head chihuahua she had ever seen.

Soooo wait, if mom wanted the dog……see people gifting pets may not work for several reasons. I hope “sister”sends me some video of Chica, the most beloved, rejected deer head Chihuahua. Chica for President!

OK blogbean you were in on this too. The arm chair quarterbacking is not necessary. Chica just got her nails done, she says “hi”!

Armchair QB-ing totally necessary and I am mighty accurate. Yes I was in on the plan and it worked, just not totally in the way expected. But the real question in all of this is, did she get a french manicure or go with a straight polish job? You guys got the best little Chi, besides Lola. Give her a kiss and a hug from me.

These guys are cute. (But it would take four or five of them to make a real dog)
Don’t get wiggy on me…….I really do like them.

Totally wiggy and armchair qb-ing it! Everyone was a winner!
