Ok the Chihuahua as a retirement gift went over…a cliff. I know, I know, you should (almost) never give a pet as a gift unless it is for sure wanted by the recipient. What was said, or not, doesn’t matter; the dog was not wanted. Luckily the parties had a contingency plan that my sister would take the new Chihuahua so that her Lola would have company. The new Chihuahua, Chica, is a fabulous deer headed Chihuahua dog, gorgeous with an even better personality. The two dogs are buds. The Retiree got a camera and other “stuff” and it was all good peeps.

Thanksgiving in Detroit was delicious. Cocoa and Lola got along splendidly. Should you use a Chihuahua as a Centerpiece…So wrong ….so right, plus the festive sweater wouldn’t fit on the turkey. Now watch Martha and Rachel copy us!!!!

I took the kids to see the Walt Disney movie, Bolt. Very Good 3 out of 4 paws (loss of one paw due to overuse of the word ironic) Stick a pin in this one, a should see! Kids loved it and I didn’t want to gauge my eyes out during the 96 minute flick. I knew the main character’s voice was Miley Cirus, I didn’t know Bolt was John Travolta.
