Here is the winner of the Kendall Speedy Design Challenge! SOOOOO AWESOME! I spoke at Kendall School of Design to some industrial design students. I challenged them to come up with a holiday business card concept. They only had 15-20 minutes to sketch. They need to have listened to me (client), look at the product and my marketing materials and quick sketch. This team was allowed to fix up their winning concept and send it to me after they had won the sketching contest. I am so proud of them! Anyone interested in these designers please comment below. Here is another Honorable Mention in the Speedy Holiday Design contest. Once again a very cute dog and nice concept but what if my recipients didn’t celebrate Christmas? This student team had 15-20 minutes to come up with a Holiday Concept for a Business Christmas card. I thought they did a super job. I would have like to see the use of the ClipCleany logo dog, even though their dog was more realistic. I also really like their message without using the word poop. Clever. Good job

I was asked to speak to some Kendall School of Design students about my entrepreneurial journey. At the end of the talk I turned the tables on them and asked them to be the entrepreneurs and come up with a holiday design that I could send to my business contacts. They had about 15/20 minutes to sketch stuff out. The main point of the exercise was to show them that opportunities are all around you….are you ready, will you take them? They were great sports. The next couple of posts will showcase the rough drafts of their ideas and the final two winners. Thank you Kendall students…you never know where your next opportunity will take you…
